Wait, this question is confusing to me - y'all post a letter, information technology is delayed, so you call the mail service office to inquire about it, and they really remember the specific letter, and why it was delayed? How on Earth is that possible? I thought if it was delayed information technology was just delayed and they couldn't tell you why. Clarify.

I accept had cases where I have sent out mail with newspaper clips or staples, and the mail was delayed becuase they wanted to audit what was inside the envelope by using some weird method. Has anyone else had this problem? Does having a Muslim proper noun make this more than of a problem? If yous have been delyed, approx. how long was this filibuster?

Wait....paper clips and staples sent upward a ruddy flag...all this ten-ray tech and the post office tin't discern a paper prune and staples. I have yet to have this trouble. Generally speaking the problems I had was postmen falsifying delivery info and they got defenseless for it on two occassions past me...I spoke to the supervisor and my packages are where they are supposed to be. And as for having a muslim name, I am muslim and my terminal name is a dead giveaway but that hasn't caused any bug in terms of mails. I propose that either you talk to the mail office or employ another method of delivery.

In teh by I've had to send mail to different places (e.one thousand. jobs). When it should accept taken 1-2 days to get in that location, information technology took two weeks for them to receive it. Anotehr case was when I filed for a rebate for something I bought, and instead of hearing back from them in 8 weeks, it took 3 monthss, the mail was returned to me and you could run across the smudges and remainder from their screening, and my rebate was by due.

Ah - and then you have no reason to suspect information technology is considering of the paperclips / or staples, information technology is but an assumption. I would say that the mail office may or may not be to blame - often people similar to blame the post office (eg the bank check is in the post) because it is a way to lay blame somewhere that can not be verified.

Behave an experiment. Mail yourself two envelopes, one with staples, one without from a curbside mailbox and time how long it takes.

The only information that has been delayed was stuff going to california. i sent stuff to keck, einstein and george washington, all priority on the same day, and keck also 3 days while the others were there by 7am- and I'thousand in Las Vegas. I asked at the mail function and the guy said the metal from the clips and the size of the envelopes caused inspection delays. once again, this was only stuff going to california.

Ignore all these people who flame yous. You lot're simply request a simple question because you're having a minor fit of paranoia, as we all do at some betoken, and in my opinion your question is perfectly normal and doesn't deserve all this sarcasm.

Once, I mailed a letter to a friend of mine. Inside the letter I put a small metal stylus for a Handspring Visor (i.e. a palm pilot PDA.) I specifically mailed him this stylus because it was neat and it had a trivial screw-in screw-driver and reset nub, and it too matched his PDA. Anyhow, when the letter arrived at his home in Georgia, he constitute that it had been tampered with, and the stylus that I had mailed him was actually removed. REMOVED. The basta=ds removed it. *sigh*.

Anyway, maybe I didn't affix enough postage stamp for the additional weight of the stylus, or perhaps there was a legitimate reason for the heightened security concern at the fourth dimension (a few months mail-911, I think.) Since it was a relatively big metal object, it's not all that surprising and now that I think most it, I guess it's okay. Honestly though, I don't think a paperclip or staples will crusade you to take any problems. And if you are actually worried, send your materials via express or priority postal service. Merely that actually is unnecessary. The USPS really is quite efficient and trustworthy, given the book of mail that they process on a daily footing.

Don't worry about it too much, but at the aforementioned time you might as well follow up later on you lot mail service them out and ensure that receipt of your materials is properly logged within 2 weeks of sending them out. Skilful luck with the app procedure. :)
